Now that we have completed almost three years after returning to India, I thought that I should update the monthly cost comparison table. Please remember, personal choices make huge differences in living costs. If you get sucked into India's "status symbol" mentality then your numbers will easily surpass US numbers! :) I can attest that following numbers are listed while maintaining similar or better living standard for me and my family. And for those of you who know me personally know that I don't binge when it comes to enjoying life to fullest extent! :)
